Casey Murray

Casey Murray is a student at Glorya Kaufman’s School of Dance at USC. Casey began breakdancing when he was only four years old. Growing up in the Bay Area he was a student at three different studios: Roco Dance, Bay Area Dance School, and Studio V.

Casey primarily practiced hip-hop dance until the age of 16 when he began to explore ballet, jazz, and contemporary dance. Although Casey began training in other styles, he continued studying hip-hop by joining Young Skull Club which is the youth hip-hop dance company of Academy of Villains, directed by Pharside and Phoenix. In YSC, Casey trained and competed in styles such as: popping, locking, wacking, tricking, krump and house.

He has competed on Americas Got Talent as well as acted in commercials. Casey also traveled on the LADM Men’s Company which is where he met and began to train with DJ Guthrie. Casey has been teaching in Los Angeles and in the Bay Area for half a decade. Currently Casey is signed with the MSA Talent Agency and is utilizing his time at USC to grow as a dancer and as a person.
