Shelly is a former faculty member at the Academy of Dance Arts in Allen, Texas. For the past 20 years, Shelly has brought her unique style and humor to teaching children of all ages at ADA in the disciplines of Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical and Hip Hop. Her role at Academy of Dance Arts also included being a liaison/choreographer for the company competition teams. Many of her numbers have gone on to win awards and special recognition. Prior to joining ADA, she has taught at various studios throughout the Dallas area as a staff member and a guest artist. Shelly has spent the past 30 years with the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. Starting as a 5 Year member of DCC, continuing on to be Associate Choreographer/ Event Coordinator. Her duties have ranged from choreography, running the youth program, Camp DCC for ages 5-16, directing the Junior Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and coordinating events/shows for the DCC with responsibilities including sales, contracts, invoicing, team itineraries, team payroll and accompanying the team as a chaperone.
